Founded on the values of rigour, integrity and innovation, the firm works with companies, public institutions and individuals on complex cases with high added value.

The firm has fourteen  employees: Attorneys, trainee lawyers, legal assistants, bilingual assistants (English, French), accountants, secretaries/accountants, liaison officers, cleaners and security guards. Composed of multidisciplinary and bilingual solicitors, our team combines local expertise with an international perspective. All our lawyers are leading legal experts with extensive experience in both litigation and advisory services. The firm offers its clients in-depth knowledge of complex legal issues and specialised expertise.

The strength of the firm lies in the breadth of our collective knowledge, in sharing that knowledge and in the experience that accompanies it. The quality of our services in Burkina Faso and abroad is enhanced by the rich and diverse experience of our external collaborators, including correspondent lawyers (FRANCE, IVORY COAST, BENIN, MALI, NIGER, TOGO and SENEGAL) as well as seasoned experts (university professors, tax specialists, chartered accountants, etc.), all highly experienced in the field of consulting and defence. We work in partnership with these experts and correspondents in several jurisdictions to ensure comprehensive and consistent coverage. The firm calls on them on an ad hoc basis, depending on the needs expressed. They are bound to the firm by contract.

The firm has established an integrated partnership agreement developed with its correspondents through a network with variable geometry and variable constraints.

In terms of its legal experience, the firm has proven expertise in drafting legal documents and has participated in numerous commercial negotiations at both national and international level, on commercial contracts with considerable financial stakes amounting to tens of billions of CFA francs.

In the judicial field, the firm has defended the interests of many prestigious clients before national and international courts (France, Ivory Coast, Togo, Niger, Senegal).

In the field of arbitration, the firm has represented numerous clients before the arbitration tribunal of the Ouagadougou Arbitration, Mediation and Conciliation Centre (CAMCO), as well as before international arbitration tribunals (the Paris Arbitration Tribunal under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce ICC Paris, Dakar Arbitration Tribunal under the auspices of the Joint Court of Justice and Arbitration of Abidjan).

In the field of debt collection, the firm has acquired expertise since its creation. Over the years, the firm has acquired and developed extensive experience in extrajudicial and judicial collection procedures, and has mastered all the techniques for reminding clients of their unpaid debts. In addition, the expertise acquired by the firm in litigation enables it to implement all the legal provisions guaranteeing the enforcement of court decisions, commonly referred to as enforcement measures. Our solicitors and legal experts are fully proficient in all procedures related to the taking of protective measures (such as the protective seizure of debts, the provisional pledging of shares, etc.), in order to guarantee our clients a favourable outcome in current or future disputes.

The firm relishes challenges and hard work, with a management style similar to that of a business, ‘all IT’, flexible working hours, mentoring for employees, organisation into areas of specialisation and a well-managed communication policy.

The structure is fully equipped to carry out its missions.

The flexible internal organisation is dominated by the concepts of versatility and expertise.

Rigorous reporting methods enable clients to be kept informed of the progress of their cases until their completion. It is also their responsibility to request them in writing without delay if they have not been sent.

In conclusion, we favour a tailor-made approach based on:

    • An in-depth analysis of legal and strategic issues;
    • An appropriate and effective litigation strategy;
    • A close and trusting relationship with our clients;
    • A commitment to excellence and confidentiality.

In addition, following decision no. 0221/2006/MEBP/FSCP/REA/DG of 30 December 2006, the firm was listed in the Register of Approved Experts (REA) of the Maison de l’Entreprise du Burkina in the legal and tax fields.
